The school provides classroom computers with internet access and interactive whiteboards as well as a dedicated computer suite.  All the Children follow the National Curriculum for ICT within the classroom. The main area for ICT development is ‘knowledge, skills and understanding’.  ICT also impacts on other curriculum areas through the use of existing and new technologies. With advances in technology, ICT has become increasingly important in our lives and the modern world requires new skills.  ICT prepares children to participate in the rapidly changing world in which work and other activities are increasingly transformed by access to a varied and developing technology.  Children use ICT skills to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information responsibly, creatively and with discrimination.  Increased capability in the use of ICT promotes initiative and independent learning.
