Welcome to Year 2 class page on our school website.

Our class teacher is Miss Hobbs. We have Miss Keeley and Miss Knowles supporting the children in class and Mrs Hague covers PPA, so also spends time supporting children delivering lessons on PE, Computing and Music.

Homework will be sent home every Friday and needs to be completed and returned by the following Thursday. Spellings will also be sent home on a Friday for a test the following Friday.

PE days are Monday and Thursday. Please ensure children wear their PE kits on these days and remove all jewellery including earrings.

PE kit is:

·         Plain black or bottle green jumper

·         Plain black or bottle green jogging bottoms

·         Plain black/bottle green PE shorts/cycling shorts (mid-thigh)

·         Plain white PE t-shirt (optional logo)

We have had a lovely start to the year and have loved our book called ‘Look up!’ Our next book will be ‘The Owl who was afraid of the dark’

I love to see extra learning that children have completed at home, especially around our learning in class. Please encourage your child to bring it in to show us.
