Mrs Johnson (Monday and Tuesday) and Miss Keeton (Wednesday - Friday) are the class teachers with Miss Ruddiforth supporting each day. Mrs Hague also teaches the class on Wednesday afternoon to cover PPA.  

Homework will be given out on a Thursday and should be returned on a Wednesday for marking. Spellings will also be given out on a Thursday to practise for the following week. They will be stuck in homework books and can be practised in those books too. Times Tables Rock Stars will also be used to set homework tasks throughout the year.  Children will be informed when this happens. 

PE days are Wednesday and Friday and will be outdoors, weather permitting, so please ensure that your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on these days.

Year Three have had an amazing start to the year! They have all come back from Summer with a fantastic attitude - I know we will have a brilliant year! 

In the first week of school, we explored our new Literacy text Coming to England by Floella Benjamin. Already, we have seen some wonderful setting descriptions from Year Three and we look forward to seeing more!
