Welcome to Year 3/4 Class page. This is a mixed Year 3 and Year 4 class. 

Mr Fidler is the class teacher with Mrs Thompson and Mrs Rowe supporting each day. Mr Fowler also teaches the class on Tuesday to cover Mr Fidler’s PPA.  

Homework will be given out on a Thursday and should be returned on a Wednesday for marking. Spellings will also be given out on a Thursday to practise for the following week. Times Tables Rock Stars will also be used to set homework tasks throughout the year.  Children will be informed when this happens. 

PE days are Monday and Thursday and will be outdoors, weather permitting, so please ensure that your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on these days.

Please make sure you try to read daily at home!  If you read four times a week and it is written in your Reading diary you will get marbles and prizes from the prize box. Children will have many opportunities to read in school time and this will be noted in their Reading diary. 

Year 3/4 have had an amazing start to the year! They have all come back from Summer with a fantastic attitude - I know we will have a brilliant year! 

In the first week of school, we explored our new Literacy text Coming to England by Floella Benjamin. Already, we have seen some wonderful written work and we look forward to seeing more!
