Computing Intent
At St Patrick’s Catholic Voluntary Academy we aim to equip children with knowledge and skills that enables them to use technology competently, creatively and responsibly throughout their lives.
It is our intention that our children are immersed in our inclusive curriculum enabling them to become socially responsible and versatile citizens of a digital world beyond our school community.
It is our intention that our children become respectful users of the internet, able to safely engage with social media and online games.
It is our intention for aspects of learning to be child led, and for our children to be able to use a range of content to problem solve and communicate their ideas to a variety of audiences.
It is our intention for the children to use a variety of high quality equipment to build a broad knowledge of computing that will allow them to contribute positively in their future workplace.
